In the ever-evolving world of finance and technology, Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation's (RCBC) superapp DiskarTech has emerged as a game-changer. Earlier this year, this platform made an impact in various barangays in Marikina and Quezon City by actively participating in the Hapinoy Barangay Caravan. This participation showed RCBC DiskarTech’s dedicated effort to reach out and uplift local communities through financial inclusion.

Behind the seamless integration and successful engagement of DiskarTech in the caravan was Flash. As a formidable partner, Flash ensured that every aspect of the event, from booth setups to on-ground activations, was executed according to plan. The synergy between DiskarTech and Flash created an environment where attendees, especially sari-sari store owners, felt encouraged to register and explore the potential benefits of the app.

The Hapinoy Barangay Caravan is a movement whose objective is to empower and upskill microentrepreneurs. It recognizes the potential lying in every small-scale business owner and aims to provide them with the tools, resources, and knowledge to elevate their ventures. With Flash's expertise in event management and DiskarTech's innovative financial solutions, these microentrepreneurs were presented with a golden opportunity.

In partnership with Flash, DiskarTech's presence was more than just a booth or a logo. It became a beacon of hope and growth. By equipping business owners with the necessary resources and skills, both companies have taken a significant step toward fostering a thriving community of entrepreneurs. The hands-on approach, coupled with interactive sessions, ensured that attendees did not just hear about the benefits but genuinely experienced them.

In a separate speech, RCBC Executive Vice President and Chief Innovation and Inclusion Officer Lito Villanueva said “RCBC is committed to help realize a financially-inclusive nation for all Filipinos through initiatives that support the government’s impact programs.”

He also took note of RCBC’s digitization campaign: “The future is here—a digital forward, cash-lite, financially-inclusive society where we eliminate barriers to digital finance, lahat puwede.”
