Flash tapped for RCBC's expansion of RCBC ATM Go

Flash is playing a pivotal role in RCBC's campaign to expand the reach of its innovative RCBC ATM Go service across the Philippines. Tasked with branding, signage installation, and merchant onboarding, Flash's efforts are key in promoting RCBC ATM Go's financial services, including cash withdrawals and deposits, in underserved areas. RCBC’s innovative RCBC ATM Go initiative, the first of its kind in the Philippines, is making significant strides in expanding financial inclusion across the nation. This community-based, bank-agnostic mobile financial service is revolutionizing access to banking in all 81 provinces in the country, especially in underserved areas.


As part of its commitment to bridging the financial gap, RCBC has launched a robust campaign to amplify the reach and impact of RCBC ATM Go, with Manila-based ad agency Flash playing a crucial role in this endeavor.


The ambitious plan includes teams staying in selected areas for seven days, aiming to onboard at least ten merchants per location. With a total of 54 areas targeted, the campaign plans to place signages in over 500 stores, ensuring high visibility in areas with significant foot traffic.


Flash's involvement is multifaceted and vital for the campaign's success. They are tasked with branding, creating layouts, installing signages, and recruiting merchants to be onboarded. Each store owner, whether an existing merchant or not, will receive hanging banners, with a total of 10 mini billboards planned for the first phase. These billboards will mirror the design of the banners for non-existing merchants, creating a cohesive and recognizable branding strategy.


This campaign marks RCBC’s first concerted effort to spread awareness about RCBC ATM Go, and Flash’s role is integral to this process. By providing branding expertise and logistical support, Flash is helping RCBC to reach potential merchants and customers, thereby extending RCBC ATM Go's services to a broader audience.


RCBC ATM Go has shown impressive growth, with a transactional volume exceeding P6.2 billion and over 2 million transactions. Particularly notable is its support for Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program conditional cash transfer beneficiaries, emphasizing its role in facilitating government social grants effectively.


RCBC ATM Go represents a leap forward in financial inclusivity, offering services like cash withdrawals, deposits, balance inquiries, and more, even without traditional banking infrastructure. Flash's involvement in this campaign is not just a business endeavor but a step towards realizing the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas' goal of a digitally empowered and financially inclusive Philippines.
